
The entire granulation process of PP PE granulator mainly includes four core steps: raw material pretreatment, melt extrusion, cooling and cutting, and finished product packaging. The specific process may vary slightly depending on the equipment model and raw material characteristics.
Raw material pretreatment
Crushing and cleaning: Waste PP PE plastics (such as woven bags and bottles) need to be cut into 5-10cm fragments by a crusher, removed of sediment and impurities by a rinsing tank, and then vigorously cleaned by a friction cleaning machine.
Dehydration and drying: The cleaned fragments are dehydrated using a centrifugal spin dryer or a hot air drying system to remove residual moisture and avoid the formation of bubbles during subsequent melting processes.
Melt and extrusion
Feeding plasticization: The dried material is fed into the forced feeder through the automatic feeding system and evenly conveyed to the twin-screw extruder. The screw adopts a modular design, with a length to diameter ratio of up to 48. Through segmented heating (180-220 ℃) and shear force, PP PE is completely melted.
Filter exhaust: The melt is filtered through a porous screen to remove impurities, and a vacuum exhaust device extracts volatile substances to ensure particle purity.
Cooling and granulation
Die head extrusion: Molten PP PE is extruded into strips with a diameter of 2-4mm through a right angle die head, and the die head temperature is controlled at around 200 ℃.
Water cooling shaping: The strip-shaped material is quickly cooled to room temperature in a stainless steel water tank, and the cooling water temperature should be below 40 ℃ to prevent deformation.
Particle cutting and sorting: The cooled strip is cut into 3-5mm cylindrical particles by a rolling cutter, and the particle size uniformity is controlled by frequency conversion.
